We're a fast-growing, early-stage startup looking for a Software Engineer who can help us build and scale our web platform.
The Role
We're looking for an engineer who thinks like a founder.
Someone who doesn't just execute tickets, but understands the problem we're solving, thinks critically about the user experience, and takes ownership of building great products.
You'll work directly with our founders to build and improve our web platform, develop new features, and help shape our technical infrastructure as we scale.
You'll have a lot of autonomy and a direct impact on the product.
Your job is simple: Build great products, solve hard problems, and help us move incredibly fast.
What You'll Do
- Build across the stack: Develop, maintain, and improve our web platform.
- Own features end-to-end: Take ideas from initial concept through development, testing, and production.
- Think about the product: Work closely with the founders to identify user problems, propose solutions, and improve the experience for our customers and posting network.
- Build scalable systems: Develop backend services, APIs, and infrastructure that can support thousands of users and millions of tasks.
- Move fast: Ship features quickly, gather feedback, and iterate without sacrificing reliability.
- Leverage AI: Use modern AI coding tools to accelerate development and improve engineering productivity.
- Solve operational problems: Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and make our business more efficient.
- Shape our technical future: Help make architecture, infrastructure, and tooling decisions as we grow.
Who We're Looking For
- You're a strong full-stack engineer who's comfortable working across frontend and backend.
- You have experience building and shipping production applications.
- You have experience with React, TypeScript, and modern web development frameworks.
- You're comfortable working with Firebase, Firestore, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- You have excellent product instincts and care deeply about the user experience.
- You're comfortable working independently, making decisions, and taking ownership.
- You're resourceful, move quickly, and know when to prioritize speed versus perfection.
- You're excited about using AI tools to build better software faster.
- You thrive in environments where there's ambiguity, constant iteration, and a lot to build.
Bonus points if
- You've built and launched your own apps or side projects.
- You've worked at an early-stage startup.
- You've built marketplaces, consumer apps, or products with complex user workflows.
- You've worked on task management, payment, or automation systems.
- You have a strong eye for design and can build beautiful, intuitive interfaces.
- You've used AI coding tools extensively in your development workflow.
