Account setup

Each post or profile request targets a social account in your company. Start with an existing account, or request a new one and wait for setup to finish.

Choose an account#

Use GET /v2/accounts to list your company’s accounts. Save the returned accountId and inspect the account’s status before using it. The key needs accounts:read.

For the terminal, use humanpost accounts list --json or humanpost accounts get ACCOUNT_ID --json. See stored account profiles for the returned fields.

Account reads expose stored HumanPost values. Pending profile edits retain the previous values until approval; a read does not independently verify the live platform profile.

Create an account#

Request accounts in the Accounts dashboard or follow the Accounts API reference. Creation is asynchronous: accepting a setup request does not make the account immediately ready for posting.
